What’s so special about cupcakes?

cakehighhat.jpgSize matters!

Cupcakes lend themselves to innovative experimentation with tastes and finishes.

If an idea is stunning it might still convert to a cake of massive proportion, but that can’t be taken for granted…imagine a huge version of a high hat cupcake and having to cut it!

Large often converts to small more easily though…individual sticky toffee puddings are just cute.

These look lovely Sara. Can men come to your cupcake classes? Or should I ask: do men come to your cupcake classes? I might come to one if I’m not on my own.

Yes they do! Three men and ten women came on the last class. Some of the best cake-makers are men… you’re very welcome to come.

Sara, Hi s a gift i have been booked on your cupcake course in bath on March 24th. Very exciting but worried i will be a bit of a novice and if there is anything i should practice before hand. I am a dab hand at buttercream and all in one sponge but is there anything else i should be competent at before i come along ?

Hi Katie, no need to worry at all…most people have similar experience to you & although I’ll teach quite a lot of techniques on the day it’s good fun without pressure! Look forward to meeting you then.
